Daniel Taylor

Daniel is a teacher and musician who uses his love of music to inspire others. He graduated from Lee University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications. Over the past ten years he has helped over 200 students reach their musical goals. Daniel is Music Director at Northstar School where he teaches drums and percussion.

In 2017 Daniel toured with Casey Donahew, and has shared the stage with Jason Aldean, Red Sun Rising, Trapt, Josh Abbott, Wade Bowen, and Tanya Tucker.

Alexandria Carrington

Alexandria is a singer-songwriter and educator based in Dallas, Texas. A recent graduate of the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Modern Artist Development & Entrepreneurship. With over two years of teaching experience, Alexandria offers private lessons in voice, piano, and guitar.
Drawing from a wide range of experience in performance and composition, she has scored music for film, released original work on major streaming platforms, and performed across the Dallas–Fort Worth and Miami areas. Alexandria is passionate about helping students explore their creativity and build confidence through music—that passion shines through in every lesson.

Jackson Beebee

Jackson Beebee is a highly accomplished drummer and educator based out of Denton, Texas. In December, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the renowned University of North Texas Jazz Studies Program. At UNT, Jackson developed his skills in Drum Set, Hand Percussion, Music Theory, Sight Reading, Classical Percussion and Piano. Jackson was a member of the prestigious UNT Lab Bands, UNT Latin Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Strings Ensemble, L-5 Guitar Ensemble and Greenhouse Combo, working alongside artists such as Arturo O'Farrill, David Sánchez, Miguel Zenón, Paoli Mejias and Gregg Bissonnette.

Jackson has extensive experience as a music educator. In 2024, one of Jackson's students earned 1st Chair for Texas All-State Jazz Drums. In addition, Jackson has also taught at Natick High School and Guitar Center. He specializes in teaching drum set, percussion and beginner-intermediate level piano.

Kaitlin Pacatte

Music has filled Kaitlin's world since she started playing piano at age 6. As a classically trained pianist, she brings her passion for performance and music theory to her teaching. From academic concerts in college, to church accompaniment and playing in bands, Kaitlin's rich experience fosters a nurturing environment where students discover their musical potential and develop a lifelong love for the piano.

Tim Phelan

Tim is a drummer/multi-instrumentalist with 30 years of experience playing, touring and doing session work all over the country. Having worked in studios for the last 20 years as an engineer, producer and arranger, he has a practical and unique approach to drumming. His love for music, enthusiasm and patience shine through in every lesson.

Tim loves giving lessons at Northstar. His two main instruments that he teaches are the guitar and drum set.

Landon Anderson

Landon began teaching guitar in 2011 as a 17 year old senior at Arlington High School and has taught music continuously for the past 12 years, including 8 years teaching music at Northstar. Landon has played in various rock bands in the Arlington and Ft. Worth area and performs regularly for weddings and other events professionally as a solo guitarist. He specializes in classical and electric guitar, and is proficient in any genre, including rock, metal, blues, and jazz. He also gives lessons in Ukulele, Mandolin, Bass, and Banjo.

Jonathan Ake

Jonathan is a current Music Education student with over 10 years of experience in drums, percussion and piano. As well as 7+ years in voice. Having grown up with music and quite the love for it, Jonathan strives to find fun ways to have the students apply what they’re learning in real-time, leaving both the student and himself feeling accomplished and motivated to continue.
